Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team, responsible for leading the design and planning of high-profile transportation infrastructure projects. This is a critical role that requires expertise in transport infrastructure design and multidisciplinary management skills.

Job Description

This is a permanent position with opportunities to work on other iconic infrastructure projects nationally. As a Design Manager, you will lead every stage of a project cycle, from Business Case and Development Phase through to Construction and Asset Handover.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountability for scope, cost, time, and quality strategy, operation, and performance.
  • Effective management of client expectations, contract compliance, and alignment with organizational systems and processes.
  • Identification of value-adds, innovations, and points of difference that can be delivered or developed further with the alliance team and client.
  • Client relationship management and leadership of a multi-disciplinary team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a solid track record and demonstrated experience within the Transport Infrastructure sector, preferably in Victoria. Strong technical design management ability, including people, relationships, and reporting, is essential.
