As a Design Manager, you will be the leader in our development and design industry, overseeing key responsibilities that span across multiple areas of project management. This includes programme management, cost management, health, safety, and environmental considerations (HSE), as well as financial management and digital engineering.

The role is critical to driving business growth through strategic initiatives, improving project delivery efficiency, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. To succeed, you must have a solid understanding of risk management principles and practices, contractual requirements, and effective team leadership skills.

  • Leadership experience at a senior level in complex projects
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality expectations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of project strategies, plans, and objectives
  • Leading cross-functional teams to drive innovation, improve processes, and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Development Directors, Construction Regional Operations Managers, National Operations Managers, and other senior leaders
  • Building strong relationships with external partners, including consultants, vendors, and clients

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, architecture)
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
