Job Title

The Snowy 2.0 project is a significant undertaking that will deliver on-demand energy and large-scale storage for generations to come.

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and implementing a section of works on a construction project, ensuring time, cost, quality, safety, and contractual targets are achieved.

Key responsibilities include reviewing subcontractor IPC claims and assisting the commercial team with commercial letters to subcontractors/clients, mentoring the engineering team to further their technical knowledge, developing 6 to 12 month look ahead programs for planning and procurement, ensuring data for shift reports is reviewed and opportunities identified for improvement to methods and reoccurring issues/delays, and monitoring progress of the planned works and regularly reviewing the delay allowance status.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline, 7 years' experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role, demonstrate initiative and creative problem-solving skills, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
