Senior Construction Lead

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Construction Lead to oversee the delivery of critical works within a large infrastructure project.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in major civil construction projects, with a strong focus on underground, tunnelling, or powerhouse works.

  • Lead all construction activities within the Powerhouse Complex.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to manage complex schedules and resources.
  • Provide strong leadership to multidisciplinary construction teams.
  • Oversee quality control processes and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor budgets and drive cost-effective construction solutions.
  • Foster effective communication with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
About You:
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 15-20 years' experience in major civil construction projects.
  • At least 5 years in a senior construction management role.
  • Proven leadership in managing large, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and contract management experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • White Card and valid driver's licence.
