Physical Security Operations Manager

Lead the design, development, and implementation of a Physical Security Operations Centre (PSOC). Establish and execute the overall strategy to operationalise the PSOC capability from concept phase through to operations phases.
Provide risk, threat, and vulnerability management subject matter expertise to support security leadership and other security teams. Direct and oversee physical/protective security risk, threat, and vulnerability management.

- Direct and oversee physical/protective security risk, threat, and vulnerability management
- Implement protective security risk, threat, and vulnerability deliverables
- Develop and review protective security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation and externally in relation to risk, threat, and vulnerability management obligations
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience working in areas related to PSOC or public sector agencies involved in physical security management. They will be proficient with government security frameworks, policies, and standards. Strong communication skills are required, with the ability to produce detailed and complex written business cases.
A day in the life will involve exercising sound judgment in making trade-offs between short-term and long-term security and business goals. The candidate will demonstrate resilience and navigate difficult situations with composure and tact, with a goal to achieve a great outcome for the customer.
