Security Oversight Specialist
A large-scale project is seeking a Project Security Officer to manage and deliver project security requirements. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, ability to work in a team environment, and experience in construction security oversight.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive security oversight throughout the construction phase ensuring delivery of fit-for-purpose and certifiable facilities through regular inspections and assurance holds.
- Collate and report on security-related issues and incidents to the AWS Security Assurance Team, documenting and tracking all relevant details.
- Implement mitigation strategies to proactively identify potential security risks and maintain compliance with project security requirements.
- Facilitate meetings with clients to resolve issues and report on matters relating to security compliance, bringing a high level of attention to detail and a meticulous approach.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: 2+ years' experience working in a Physical Security Operations position or related field.
- Basic Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of Physical Security best practices including Security Incident Management.
- Basic Qualifications: Experience managing Security Operations in complex environments, adapting quickly to new technologies, and providing responsive support to internal and external customers.
