Job Description

The primary responsibility of this leadership position is to oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of our care services team.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care to older people and those living with disability in our community.

This role involves coordinating the delivery of tailored, client-directed services that reflect individual needs, goals, and personal choices.

You will also provide expert advice on emerging sector needs, service gaps, and compliance with care standards and legislation.

Monitoring individual client budgets and service outcomes to ensure quality and sustainability is also a key aspect of this role.

Collaborating on business planning, reporting, and risk management is essential in maintaining oversight of client data and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve service delivery and efficiency.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on service outcomes, budget expenditure, and program performance.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required by law and organisational policies.
What We're Looking For
  • A tertiary qualification in care or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing care services teams, including staff supervision and service planning.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and unify a diverse team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Sound computer and administrative skills, including Microsoft Office and client management systems.
