Community Events Coordinator Position

This is a challenging role that requires an experienced and highly organized individual to lead and coordinate community events. The successful applicant will have the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including council staff, community members and external partners.

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting and event coordination.
  • They will also have experience in developing and implementing community engagement and participation programs.
  • A strong understanding of regional communities, their challenges and drivers is essential for this role.

The Community Events Coordinator will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and delivering community events across the Isaac region
  • Developing and implementing community engagement and participation programs
  • Working with council staff and external partners to achieve program objectives

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Moranbah. The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary package, including five weeks annual leave and up to 14.5% superannuation.
