At Murdoch University, our Campus Development Department provides top-notch asset and facility management services to support teaching, research, and commercial activities.

About the Role

This position is accountable for ensuring efficient and effective Reactive Work in accordance with university policy and procedure, while achieving safety compliance and client satisfaction.

  • General building operations and maintenance operations
  • Relocation of furniture, equipment, and staff
  • Management of contractors on campus
  • Effective maintenance of relevant documents, databases, and records
  • Liaise with Campus Operations on campus security, grounds, and cleaning contractors

Your Key Responsibilities will include –

  • Liaising with customers to identify needs and agree on the scope of works
  • Establishing realistic timeframes for completion of jobs and providing feedback to stakeholders
  • Ensuring works are completed within budget constraints
  • Supervising contracts as needed, to ensure works are completed to required standard
  • Completing all administration, recording, and reporting associated with work undertaken
