Principal Process Development Specialist

The Principal Process Engineer is a pivotal role that leads and oversees the electrical and instrumentation aspects of projects, ensuring timely completion to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Leads process engineering design, manages projects, mentors junior engineers, and ensures safety and compliance.
- Develops new processes or improves existing ones by analysing technologies, conducting feasibility studies, and creating deliverables.
- Builds strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes.
- Ensures all designs adhere to relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Takes a lead role in HAZOP studies to ensure compliance with functional safety requirements.
- Supports plant commissioning, development of commissioning documents, and leads commissioning activities.
- Identifies opportunities to enhance process efficiencies and performance.
- 12 years' experience managing MHF projects.
- Demonstrable experience embedding process safety considerations into process engineering and design development.
- Proven experience working on chemicals / agricultural sector projects.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in chemicals engineering (or related field).
- Availability to work onsite in Laverton, Victoria.
