**Marine Services Role**

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team in Adelaide's Outer Harbor, providing marine services to vessels and meeting maintenance requirements for the port. The role follows an even time roster of 2 days, 2 nights, and 4 days off.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and operating Flinders Ports launches for pilot transfer, minor maintenance, and servicing of main engines and ancillary equipment;
  • Preparing statistics and reports of vessel activities and performance;
  • Assisting with maintenance of port assets as required (i.e. wharf and navigation aids);
  • Using oil pollution response equipment as necessary under the direction of Transport SA or Flinders Ports emergency response coordinators.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master Class V Certificate of Competency and Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 of Competency;
  • Administrative experience and strong computer literacy;
  • An ability to work both independently and in a team;
  • A high level of attention to detail and the ability to problem solve;
  • A current Drivers Licence; and
  • A Trade Qualification and/or understanding of Electrical systems highly desired.
