Role Overview

The Department of Education is seeking to establish a pool of dynamic and reflective educators to join our growing community. This exciting opportunity allows the selected candidates to contribute to a school driven by a clear vision and strategic direction.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-impact, evidence-based teaching aligned with the Teaching for Impact model.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality lessons through shared planning, common lesson design, and regular professional learning.
  3. Create differentiated, challenging, and caring learning environments that cater for all students, using assessment to inform progress and guide planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting.
  • Consent to and obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
