We are seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - Primary for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. Application requirements include character limited responses to address only 2 Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) domains at application stage. The remaining AITSL domain will be assessed as part of the further assessment stage, for shortlisted applicants only.

The School
Beeliar Primary School (PS) is a Level 5 Independent Public School with a school population of approximately 500 students. We cater for a diverse population of students, including 10% Aboriginal students.

The Role
Within this pool, we are looking to identify and employ teachers who can adopt our whole school connected practices and embed our Explicit Direct Instruction Model into their classroom.
Our Business Plan drives our direction and key focus for 2025 and beyond. This includes developing our quality teaching practices, distributed leadership model and partnerships with our families.
Suitable applicants will ideally be passionate, motivated, and skilled educators who are committed to improving outcomes for every child, every day, through our whole school approaches, explicit teaching, and instructional strategies. In addition, they will provide an inclusive and differentiated learning environment that fosters learning and development of the whole child. Applicants should pursue excellence in teaching and have high expectations for themselves, their students and their colleagues. At Beeliar PS, we value collaborative practices and work together in collaborative teams to develop and deliver consistent, high-quality teaching and learning programs.
Applicants should align their teaching practice to support our whole school strategies including Talk 4 Writing, Critical Reading and Explicit Direct Instruction. Experience implementing Spelling Mastery and/or Initial Lit is preferable. Experience teaching in a 1:1 Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) environment where technology is used to enhancing learning is also desirable.
Applicants with leadership aspirations are highly desired as we develop our distributed leadership model across the school in 2025.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
