Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective credit strategies to meet client needs in the agricultural sector.
  2. Conduct thorough credit assessments by evaluating applications, validating information, and performing comprehensive credit searches.
  3. Manage facility renewals and re-underwriting processes by preparing updated credit documentation and presenting recommendations to the Investment Committee for approval.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer portfolio files by ensuring all relevant data is recorded promptly and securely for compliance purposes.
  5. Monitor obligor exposures, assess overall portfolio quality, and identify emerging risks that may impact the business or clients.
Key Qualifications
  • Minimum five years' experience in a similar analytical or credit-focused role within banking or agricultural finance environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial statement analysis—including cashflow modelling—and debt serviceability assessment.
  • Strong commercial acumen combined with excellent interpersonal skills enables effective interaction with brokers and clients.
  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or a related discipline provide a solid foundation for understanding complex transactions.
