Strategic Software Acquisition Specialist

Harris Computer, an operating group of Constellation Software with over $80 billion market cap listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, is actively investing in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
The company has an open position for a Strategic Software Acquisition Specialist to join its growing team. As a key member of the leadership team, this specialist will play a pivotal role in driving growth through M&A activity in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and source acquisition targets that align with Harris' M&A mandate
- Develop and maintain relationships with management teams and shareholders of vertical market software companies
- Manage and grow the M&A CRM database by identifying small, medium, and large-sized software companies that meet the acquisition criteria
About You:
You have a strong interest in building a career in corporate development and M&A, with excellent communication skills and a knack for building rapport with stakeholders. You are proactive, persistent, intelligent, and efficient, with a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial attitude.
Skill Requirements:
- Strong commercial acumen and technical financial acumen
- Able to develop and manage a pipeline, with a balance between volume and precision
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with ability to develop trust with founders and senior executives
- Articulate and persuasive, with ability to think on your feet and pivot conversations when necessary
Salary:$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience
