Senior Clinical Psychologist Opportunity

This is a key leadership role in our Allied Health Psychology team, providing specialist psychological assessment, intervention and consultation services.

  • Our team delivers high-quality, evidence-based care to patients with complex needs.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable clinical psychologist to work with us, bringing their expertise in psychological assessment, intervention and consultation.

  • Experience in public health settings and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care are essential for this role.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary collaboration to deliver high-quality patient care;
  • Work closely with our experienced clinical team to provide targeted interventions and support;
  • Develop and implement clinical programs and initiatives to improve patient outcomes;
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to junior clinicians;
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
  • Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology or a related field;
  • Proven experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a public health context;
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessment, intervention and consultation principles;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role

  • Grade 2 or 3 position;
  • 32 hours per fortnight;
