Psychology Leadership Role

In a supportive and inclusive environment, we are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed mental health programs.

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled and compassionate professional to contribute their expertise and passion to the development and delivery of clinical excellence initiatives. The successful candidate will have experience in leadership roles, providing clinical oversight, supervision, and support to staff within a healthcare setting.

The role requires strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and allied health professionals. A proven track record of contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives is essential.

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating evidence-based interventions. You will also conduct clinical assessments, individual sessions, and group facilitation, and participate in ongoing supervision and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to a multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop and deliver trauma-informed mental health programs.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Lead and facilitate groups, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Clinical endorsement and approval as a supervisor.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
