Foster a culture of healthy living by driving nutrition and prevention initiatives across diverse communities.
The Public Health Nutritionist works collaboratively with health professionals and stakeholders to address diet-related diseases in the region. A key aspect of this role is partnering with relevant parties to enhance the appropriateness and effectiveness of population health services for priority populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
This involves reviewing relevant literature, planning programs, developing resources, engaging stakeholders, conducting community consultations, evaluating programs, and disseminating results.
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team, and independently
- Able to complete tasks efficiently
- Skilled problem solvers and workload prioritizers
- Proficient computer skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics, with eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia and Accredited Practising Dietitian status
- Eligibility to drive in NSW
