Human Resources Consultant Role Overview

This role offers a unique experience of working on a mine site while maintaining a family-friendly schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Improve employee engagement through project activities, succession plan development, and corporate projects.
  • Provide HR support and advice to leaders on performance management, compensation, and HR systems.
  • Review and implement standards and processes, policy review, and change management.
  • Develop recommendations on policy and process improvements to maintain best practice.
  • Maintain knowledge of current and proposed legislation and changes.
  • Advise senior management on employee relations matters.
  • Develop and provide employee relations training.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Business.
  • Substantial experience in HR or Employee Relations with knowledge of legislative compliance, performance management, and HR systems.
  • Experience working with a unionised workforce, heavy industry, or within the resources sector is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting and communicating with others.
