As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our next-generation data platforms.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a solid understanding of data warehousing solutions such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake. In this role, you will work alongside a talented team of engineers to design, develop, and deliver business-critical features that power our payment ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Cloudera Data Platform and large-scale migration programs from on-prem to Cloud. You will also possess a proven track record of Agile delivery, including leading and working on end-to-end project deliveries, and will have confidence in understanding data modeling, schema design, and data architecture principles.

You will be expected to lead by example, directing, coaching, and guiding engineers to achieve excellence in their work. Other required skills include building Spark-based pipelines, proactively looking for ways to improve engineering and automation processes, thinking creatively to solve complex data problems, and having knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, including the ability to direct and guide a team of engineers towards a shared goal. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards the same objectives.
