About the RoleWe are seeking a Cleaner/Kitchen/Laundry Hand to join our team on a Casual basis at our Pascoe Vale Home.
As a cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring cleaning standards are met, creating a relaxing environment for our residents, and providing excellent customer service.
You will work collaboratively with our team to maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring the safety of our residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program
- Contribute to a clean and safe working environment
- Preparation and cleaning in accordance with the Food Safety Program
- Cleaning and sorting of residents' clothing
- Ensure all Kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards
- Understand and execute infection control initiatives
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet CraigCare Standards
- Organised, can-do attitude to what can be a physically demanding team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work across any day of the week
- Previous experience in Hotel Services (Kitchen) within an Aged Care Environment
- Sound knowledge of Food Safety
