Job Summary

APA Group seeks a highly skilled Senior Asset Strategy Engineer to join our team in Kidman Park, SA. This is a rare opportunity to provide engineering expertise for the development of asset management strategies for the gas distribution network.

About the Role

  • Provide engineering expertise for the development of asset management strategies for the gas distribution network.
  • Develop and optimize network augmentation designs and business cases for organic growth and major customer changes in conjunction with the commercial and energy transition departments.
  • Lead emergency load management and develop asset management plans, capital expenditure plans, and pressure surveillance strategies.
  • Provide guidance to asset engineers and analysts on a wide range of asset strategy applications balancing Cost, Risk, and Performance.

About You

  • Tertiary engineering qualifications with experience in one or more of the following areas - strategic planning, asset development, capacity planning, operations, concept or FEED engineering, project management.
  • Experience and passion for asset management and/or asset strategy development.
  • Detailed knowledge of network distribution and associated infrastructure is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of gas hydraulic modeling packages such as Synergi is advantageous.
  • Experience with asset management systems & processes is desirable.
