The Role

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting managers across a wide range of services to ensure our teams are high-performing and Lutheran Services remains a place where people love what they do.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality ER support aligned with our Lutheran values
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with operational managers, employees and unions
  • Tackle employee concerns and conflicts with fairness and empathy, ensuring compliance with our Enterprise Agreement and all relevant legislation
  • Guide managers and staff navigate employee practices while continuously improving our service

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience partnering and providing advice and coaching in relation to performance management, workforce planning, case management, and HR projects
  • Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, the Work Health and Safety Act, and related legislation and regulations
  • Formal qualifications in HR, IR, Law (highly desirable) and/or significant demonstrated experience is essential
