About the Role:
- Develop, plan, and deliver diverse recreational and social activities, ensuring resident engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to identify individual preferences and provide personalised care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of lifestyle programs, making adjustments as needed.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to integrate lifestyle activities with residents' care plans.
- Manage events, ensure proper resourcing, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or a related field (or willingness to obtain).
- Current police check & Statutory Declaration.
- First Aid Certificate.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the aged care sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative approach to developing engaging activities and programs.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving the quality of life for elderly individuals.
