Event Services Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and professional Event Services Team Member to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every event runs smoothly.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of events, including setup, coordination, and teardown.
  • They will work closely with the Event Services Manager to ensure that all events meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
Main Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting with event setup and teardown, including decorating, catering, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients and guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Working collaboratively with the events team to ensure seamless execution of events.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid RSA certification and knowledge of food and beverage service principles.
