- Drive strategic alignment, supplier management and cross-functional collaboration to achieve product development goals.
- Lead and mentor assistant on product development initiatives, including critical path timelines.
- Collaborate with design, buying and planning teams to own the product development process.
- Oversee sourcing strategies and supplier partnerships to ensure quality, cost and delivery targets are met.
- Ensure data integrity across systems and manage smooth handover to internal stakeholders.
- Align product ranges with seasonal direction and market trends in partnership with the Brand Manager.
- Develop and oversee packaging solutions, artwork approvals and compliance with brand standards.
- Manage quality control processes and ensure compliance with Australian standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports and sample libraries.
- Support range launches with product training tools, selling guides and marketing collateral.
- Proven experience in product development, buying or sourcing with a focus on homewares, lifestyle or FMCG/hardgoods categories.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of managing costs, margins and supplier negotiations.
- Deep understanding of product lifecycles from concept to market.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and product/order management systems.
- High-performing team culture.
