Wildlife Care Leader

The successful applicant will be responsible for progressing strategic priorities in wildlife daily husbandry, welfare and visitor services including education programs, experiences, and retail. This key member of the site's leadership team will work closely with the Ranger in Charge and Team Leader, Maintenance to drive excellence in all areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team to deliver exceptional results and inspiring them to excel in their roles.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve animal welfare, safety, and customer service.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Providing expert guidance on wildlife care and management practices.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong background in wildlife care, visitor services, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve outstanding results.
