Family Support Hub
A role that makes a lasting impact on families and children through the delivery of culturally safe family support services.
This position is part of the Family Support Hub (FSH) in a collaborative partnership with South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS).
- BUILD TRUSTING RELATIONSHIPS WITH FAMILIES TO INCREASE THEIR SAFETY, STABILITY, WELLBEING AND CAPACITY.
- COMMUNICATE WITH FAMILIES OPENLY AND WITH RESPECT FOR DIFFERENCES IN PERSONAL, FAMILY, CULTURAL BELIEFS AND VALUES.
- WORK WITH CASE WORKER TO DEVELOP, MAINTAIN AND REVIEW TAILORED CASE MANAGEMENT PLANS TO ADDRESS AREAS OF CONCERN.

About YouWe are seeking individuals who have experience in a similar role within the social and community services sector. They will bring:
- A knowledge of Child Protection procedures together with local services and community.
- The ability to write case notes and report.
- The ability to communicate at all levels, negotiate, mediate and build effective relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- The ability to demonstrate their ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
