Payroll Officer Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to manage our end-to-end payroll process using Visipay software and maintain accurate records.

  • Process payrolls using Visipay software, import payroll information and maintain payroll records.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to support team development.
  • Maintain compliant payroll records, including manual checks and calculations, in line with Data Protection regulations.

Key requirements include:

  • A current driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Permanent residency or citizenship of Australia.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite.
  • The ability to learn Australian payroll legislation, taxation rules, and superannuation requirements.
  • Customer-focused skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Numerical skills with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Deadline management and task prioritization.
