As a
**Payroll Officer**, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. Your primary responsibilities will include utilising key software systems, such as Pronto, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and SAP, to manage payroll functions efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Payroll Processing**:
- Execute end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislative requirements.
- Utilise Pronto, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and SAP systems to handle payroll functions efficiently.
- **Data Management**:
- Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system, ensuring the accuracy of information.
- Manage employee data changes, such as new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and other relevant updates.
- **Compliance**:
- Stay informed about changes in payroll-related legislation and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Generate reports and documentation for audits, providing necessary information to internal and external stakeholders.
- **Communication and Collaboration**:
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination regarding payroll matters.
- Respond promptly to employee queries related to payroll, fostering a positive and supportive employee experience.
- **Technology Utilisation**:
- Efficiently navigate and utilise Pronto, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and SAP to optimise payroll processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role.
- Familiarity with Pronto, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and SAP systems.
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll regulations and compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
**Education and Experience**:
- Previous experience in payroll administration, preferably in an Australian context.
- Previous Pronto experience essential.
