Job Title: Specialist Trainer and Assessor

This position offers the opportunity to share your expertise with others in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for delivering training and assessment services that meet industry standards.

  • Degree of mobility required due to potential off-campus deliveries.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience as a Trainer/Assessor, and current industry skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and relevant training & assessment services (combined theory and practical activities)
  • Ensure content and delivery of accredited courses meets ASQA/RTO Standards and other applicable regulations
  • Supervise students' behaviours and provide engaging and motivating training
  • Maintain equipment, training venues and training aids to ensure they are serviceable, clean, tidy, and safe for operation
Essential Criteria:
  • Cert IV TAE (plus upgrade units if required)
  • Possess a High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
  • Demonstrated Lifting Operations experience within the construction/civil, resources & infrastructure or training sectors
  • Be accredited by WorkSafe as an Individual Assessor (or ability to gain accreditation, if applicable)
  • Be eligible to obtain a Working Children Check Card and a Police Check
  • You will need to be an Australian Resident
  • Must hold valid Australian Drivers Licence
