Job Title: Education Support Associate

As a key member of our educational services team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of quality education to students. Your primary responsibilities will include providing routine support for teachers, assisting with planning and implementation of student routines, and communicating effectively with teachers and parents.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks, including coordinating and supporting others in respect to specific work functions relevant to the role. They will possess strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to provide advice and support to management and other school staff.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing routine support for teachers, including assisting with lesson planning and implementation
  • Supporting communication between teachers and parents, ensuring that students receive the best possible care and education
  • Communicating with teachers and other school staff to ensure seamless operation of educational programs
  • Providing basic physical care and wellbeing support for students, such as toileting, meals, and lifting
  • Communicating with students to support comprehension of basic tasks and information
  • Addressing immediate behavioural presentations relating to specific students within a classroom setting

  • Possesses technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position
