This exciting role involves coordinating project planning, scheduling, and governance support to drive a national initiative that celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledges and voices in research infrastructure and environmental science.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support cross-team collaboration and coordination with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander reference groups and advisory committees
  • Build relationships with Indigenous communities and knowledge holders to foster meaningful partnerships
  • Assist in developing culturally appropriate data practices and review data governance frameworks to ensure effective implementation
Requirements:
  • Experience in project coordination or administrative support, preferably in an Indigenous context
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, with a focus on cultural sensitivity and awareness
  • Interest in and commitment to Indigenous knowledge systems and cultural engagement
  • Proven ability to work effectively in project governance structures, with attention to detail and organizational skills
