About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead with a passion for data and leadership to join our Data Platform Team. As the Team Lead, you will oversee our internal data platform, integrating data from our products and external sources, empowering analysts and data scientists to unlock powerful insights.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Inspire and guide your engineers, helping them tackle complex challenges and removing obstacles so they can excel.
- Technical Leadership: Lead by example, solving complex problems and driving technical excellence.
- Delivery: Ensure timely and efficient project delivery within our Agile, cross-functional, and remote-friendly teams.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of data engineering and data platform architecture, including data lake and data warehouse architecture, data modeling, and building for security and compliance.
- Experience with the AWS data stack including Redshift, MSK, and Glue.
- Knowledge of key data stack components, such as dbt and Airflow.
- Experience managing stakeholders and leading engineers, complemented by strong written and verbal communication skills.
