Job Overview

The Patient Liaison Officer plays a pivotal role in the private service offered by Joondalup Health Campus, providing a crucial link between patients and healthcare services. As such, this position requires a strong presence in both the Emergency Department and hospital wards, as well as in the office preparing financial estimates.

Key responsibilities include completing health fund checks for private patients, preparing Informed Financial Consent forms and estimates, communicating with patients and health funds/insurance companies regarding private health cover, pre-admitting patients into Meditech, collecting patient payments, and organising referrals for Home Care Service and ex-gratia payments.
