Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Consultant to join our team in Australia. As a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the success of our infrastructure projects.

About the Role:

You will work closely with the design and construction teams to develop coordinated and cost-effective electrical designs. Your expertise will drive our projects forward, ensuring excellence in electrical engineering and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop harmonised and cost-effective electrical designs that seamlessly integrate into our projects
  • Coordinate and prepare high-quality systems engineering documentation, including digital engineering deliverables
  • Craft technically sound and well-written proposals and reports
  • Support the sales leader in developing business opportunities
  • Monitor costs and ensure they align with predetermined budgets
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships while staying informed about industry trends

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent with strong skills in I&C and/or LV
  • Design and practical experience in an operating environment (either maintenance or construction)
  • Technical design background is preferable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of commercial arrangements and relationships
  • Chartered status is preferred
