**The Role**

We are seeking an innovative and collaborative Business Development Consultant to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This role will be responsible for analysing, researching, and expanding business opportunities to drive sustained growth for KU Children's Services.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the early childhood education sector and be able to identify and develop new lines of business and respond to grant opportunities that align with KU's strategic plan.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assess, manage and respond to Tenders and EOI's that fit within the KU Strategic Plan and deliverables.
  • Support grant applications that improve KU operations, programs and/or services with other KU departments.
  • Seek opportunities to partner with government, commercial and community-based organisations to deliver new, viable KU early childhood education services and programs.
  • Manage the establishment of new services within specified timeframes and budgets.
  • Utilise project management skills to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects.
  • Source and deliver opportunities to undertake consultancy projects on a fee for service basis.
  • Develop networks to strengthen KU's position as the preferred provider of quality work-based childcare for employers.
