Job Title: Business Development Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Consultant to join our team at KU Children's Services. As a Business Development Consultant, you will play a key role in driving business growth and expansion, identifying new opportunities, and developing strategic partnerships.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in business development, with experience in tendering, grant writing, and strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for analyzing market trends, identifying business opportunities, and developing strategies to drive growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage tenders and expressions of interest (EOIs) to identify business opportunities that align with KU's strategic plan.
  • Develop and submit grant applications to secure funding for new initiatives and programs.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with government, commercial, and community-based organizations to deliver new services and programs.
  • Manage the establishment of new services within specified timeframes and budgets.
  • Utilize project management skills to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects.
  • Source and deliver consultancy projects on a fee-for-service basis.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, tendering, and grant writing.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
