Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Document Specialist to join our DTX Department in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality document specialist services to our clients nationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with client documents in accordance with their format, layout, and structure
  • Creating specialized client templates
  • Converting documents from PDF to Word
  • Comparing documents, PDF to PDF, PDF to Word, Word to Word
  • Transcribing meetings, interviews, and teleconferences
  • Working with our firm's library of precedents
  • Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
  • Assembling multiple documents into a single PDF
  • Working with graphics and images
  • Working with interactive PDFs, such as LPI forms
  • Editing and formatting PDF files, including bookmarking, paginating, redacting, and hyperlinking
  • Rendering handwritten or dictated edits to documents

Requirements

  • Typing speed of 90 WPM (minimum)
  • At least 5 years' legal WP experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptive to working on various job types
  • Advanced skillset and capabilities in Microsoft Word, specifically with client style documents and specialized templates
  • Advanced skillset and experience in PowerPoint
  • Advanced skillset and experience in Microsoft Visio
  • Advanced skillset and experience with PDF programs
