We are currently seeking experienced and skilled Pipelayers/Drainers to join our team on a variety of projects throughout Sydney and NSW.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of stormwater and sewerage systems, including blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Excavating and leveling sites to line, depth, and grade according to drawings and specifications
  • Installing below-ground concrete and PVC sanitary and stormwater pipes
  • Carrying out site drainage and de-watering procedures, employing stormwater, sub-soil, and pump systems
  • Testing drainage systems and locating blockages in below-ground systems
  • Ensuring excavation supports meet Occupational Health and Safety requirements
  • Digging trenches to desired or required depths by hand or using trenching tools or machinery
  • Checking slopes for conformance to requirements
  • Cutting pipes to required lengths and aligning and positioning them for sealing
  • Connecting pipe pieces and sealing joints using cement
  • Covering pipes with earth or other materials
About You

Applicants must hold a relevant trade qualification or have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Drainage/Plumbing.

A competitive salary is available based on experience.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
