About the role

Are you an experienced Digger Driver/Pipelayer looking for an exciting new opportunity? We have a casual role available at our construction site in Sydney, NSW 2000. This is a hands-on position that will see you operating heavy machinery and machinery to support the installation of new pipelines and infrastructure for our clients. The role offers flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

  • Operating excavators, backhoes, and other heavy construction equipment to dig trenches, move materials, and support pipeline installation
  • Laying and positioning pipe segments according to project specifications
  • Performing routine maintenance and safety checks on all equipment used
  • Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with the wider construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Digger Driver/Pipelayer, with at least 2-3 years' hands-on experience in a similar role
  • Relevant qualifications and licences, such as a Forklift Licence, High-Risk Work Licence, and Construction White Card
  • Strong knowledge of construction equipment operation, pipeline installation techniques, and safety protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with the wider construction team
  • Job located in Young NSW, there will be an away living allowance
