Job Title: Archives Management Supervisor

The Records Management & Archival Services Compliance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the management of the Archival Services Team and its daily operations, including project management and quality control.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Management of the Archival Services Team and its activities
  • Co-ordination of team objectives and achievement of goals
  • Assistance with policy development and procedure implementation in relation to records management
  • Participation in key auditing initiatives
  • Provision of advice on records management compliance to management and staff

This role reports directly to the Manager Corporate Records & Archival Services and is responsible for maintaining work health & safety plans and site registers. The Intranet site is also maintained to ensure accuracy and currency of information.

Additional responsibilities include reporting on compliance issues and ensuring timely resolution. This position also contributes to the development of sound advice on records management and assists with key auditing initiatives.

This role has four (4) direct reports - Records Officers. Successful candidates will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as experience working in an archival services environment.
