About the Position: We are seeking a talented individual to lead the design of our future workforce capability operating model.

The successful candidate will work closely with our research team to deliver a public learning and engagement program that promotes healthy living and wellbeing.

About you:

  • You should have strong analytical and conceptual skills to reason through complex problems.
  • You must be able to use your creativity to find innovative solutions.
  • You will need to project how these ideas can link to future innovations.
  • You will diagnose trends, obstacles and opportunities in our internal and external environment.
  • You understand the linkages between natural systems and communities to inform policy decisions.
  • You will conceptualise and define the systems working within our organisation.
  • You will consult, liaise with and influence key stakeholders.
  • You will produce detailed project plans where objectives are clearly defined and action steps for achieving them are clearly specified.
  • You will monitor performance against objectives and manage project risks and issues.
  • You will ensure project objectives are met.

Qualifications / Specialist Expertise:

  • You should have demonstrated experience working with individuals who have a past or current lived experience of mental ill-health or psychological distress.
  • A tertiary qualification in fields related to mental health, social sciences, health administration and/or public health is desirable.
  • You must have specialist expertise relating to effective workforce education and development building within the mental health (preferred), human services or health sectors.
  • You need to work within complex systems to effect change on the ground.
