CBGU JV brings together CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnel and Station Package for Brisbane's CRR. The project also includes construction of four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road and Woolloongabba, where the future upgraded Olympic stadium will stand.

All project sites and offices are based in inner city Brisbane. Queensland's 'River City' is booming with activity, while still retaining its laidback lifestyle.

As a Lifting Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering all relevant scopes of construction work across a specific geographical area or functional discipline to ensure effective delivery of planned schedules within time and budget.

You will provide effective leadership and sustainable working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to contribute to site safety, quality and environment controls and risk management.

The role requires:

  • Providing constructive review and oversight of design implementation
  • Overseeing on-site delivery of defined scopes of work on schedule
  • Conducting performance management evaluation for direct and indirect reports
  • Reviewing progress against plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones
  • Managing industrial relations issues and implications

The minimum requirements for this role include:

  • At least 10 years of lifting experience in the Construction and Heavy Industry environment
  • Experience in industry-relevant trade or high-risk roles within the Construction operations environment
  • Prominent people and performance management skills
  • Skill in reviewing design documentation and providing constructability review
  • A strong understanding of productivity factors and utilisation planning

The salary for this role is approximately AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. At CBGU JV, we commit to workplace diversity and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.
