Job Overview

As a senior engineering professional, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and providing technical expertise to clients. The role involves growing and developing team members, establishing and maintaining client relationships, and driving departmental projects and innovations.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural) and 3+ years of experience in a technical role. They will also have experience with people management, workflow management, and knowledge of the residential design and construction process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Growing and developing team members
  • Establishing, maintaining and growing client relationships;
  • Assisting the sales staff with technical expertise in acquiring new business;
  • Driving departmental projects, innovations and improvements;
  • Delivering on departmental/state bottom line as set by State & National Department Managers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural)
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical role
  • Experience with people management in a leadership capacity
  • Experience managing workflows successfully and efficiently
  • Knowledge of the residential design and construction process, from untitled land to handover
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant building codes and standards
  • Knowledge or ability to work through/with CRM systems to optimise processes and systems
