Job Description

As a skilled Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work with patients across various conditions, utilizing your skills and knowledge to improve their quality of life.

You will be part of a supportive and friendly environment with professional development opportunities, committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients.

The hospital has 115 inpatient beds and a busy day patient program, based on an interdisciplinary team approach where all team members play an integral role.

The major casemix groups are orthopaedic, neurological, cardiac, and reconditioning, as well as palliative care and general medical.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • A degree in Physiotherapy
  • Minimum of 1 year post-graduate experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Sound organisational and time management skills
  • Evidence of participation in continuing education
  • Awareness of Quality Improvement and Occupational Health and Safety / Infection Control policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities

Providing physiotherapy treatment and advice to patients with a range of physical disabilities and injuries

Conducting assessments and developing individualised treatment plans

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment
