Job Description

As a skilled solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of litigated matters, providing support and guidance to paralegals and cross-functional teams, and carrying out files independently or under supervision. Your role will involve advising clients on legal issues, arranging interviews and meetings with clients and witnesses, and drafting and finalizing legal documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of litigated matters and ensure timely resolution
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Draft and finalize legal documents, statements of claim, and correspondence
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent legal research and analytical skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. You should have a current practicing certificate and at least 1-3 years of post-admission experience in the motor vehicle property and hire car recovery practice area.

  • Current practicing certificate (essential)
