Hospitality Assistant
Job Description:As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food services to our residents. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals, including dishwashing and clearing of dishes from dining rooms and resident rooms.
Additionally, you will perform general cleaning services of resident's rooms and public areas around the home to a high standard. This includes removing rubbish, cleaning bench tops, mirrors, handrails, basins, etc., maintaining adequate supplies of cleaning materials, and maintaining accurate records.
Our ideal candidate will have basic Food Safety Practices Certificate, aged care or hotel experience in housekeeping/cleaning & laundry, excellent attention to detail, sound food preparation experience (preferably in an Aged Care environment), knowledge of kitchen and cleaning processes, standards, systems, and equipment, and current Covid Vaccination and Influenza vaccination for 2024.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate
- Aged care or hotel experience in housekeeping/cleaning & laundry
- Excellent attention to detail
- Sound food preparation experience (preferably in an Aged Care environment)
- Knowledge of kitchen and cleaning processes, standards, systems, and equipment
