Highly skilled and experienced tanker drivers are required to join our team in Darwin, Australia. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

The Role

This role involves operating fuel tanker trucks around the fuel installation and Defence base. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating the fuel tanker truck to ensure safe delivery of fuel to aircraft
  • Working closely with operators to safely load the fuel tank truck with the required fuel
  • Delivering the fuel to designated refuelling points
  • Operating pumps on the tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel

You will be responsible for communicating with internal and external teams to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

What You Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid MC/HC driver's license and Dangerous Goods Handling License
  • Proven experience operating heavy vehicles is essential
  • Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regarded
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team
  • Current holder, or ability to obtain relevant security clearances
