Overview

UGL Darwin City, Northern Territory, Australia. As a key player in the Defence Industry, UGL supports the Australian Defence Force across 100 locations nationwide, delivering operations and maintenance, asset management and fuel supply services. This role is based at the Darwin RAAF base and involves delivering fuel to Defence stakeholders as part of a Tier 1 service provider team.

The Role
  • Operate fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and the defence base
  • Work closely with the operator to safely load your fuel tank truck with required fuel
  • Deliver the fuel to designated fuel points (refuelling point, aircraft on the runway, etc.)
  • Operate pumps on the tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraft
  • Communicate with internal and external teams to ensure a good customer experience
What you Need
  • MC/HC Drivers Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence
  • Proven experience operating heavy vehicles is essential
  • Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regarded
  • Good communicator and ability to work in a diverse team
  • Current holder, or ability to obtain relevant security clearances
